  • Does Nor-Shore Self Storage provide a lock?

    Some units have a deadbolt lock and some units require your own lock. You may purchase a lock on site or you can bring your own.

  • How am I billed for renting the space?

    Your rent is renewable monthly and payable the first of every month. Rent is also prorated in case you have to move out before month’s end.

  • Will you send me a monthly invoice?

    Invoices are sent out upon request by mail or email. You can also sign up for pre-authorize payments in advance, by credit card or by mailing in post-dated cheques.

  • Will staff help me move in to my storage unit?

    Unfortunately, our staff cannot assist you. We can recommend a reliable local mover to help you out.

  • Will you accept packages for me if I can't be there?

    We cannot accept deliveries.

  • Do you insure the contents of a warehouse?

    Nor-Shore Self Storage is a VERIFIED "PAL Insurance Facility". Visit for more information! Alternatively, your homeowner’s insurance should offer contents insurance.

  • When can I access my unit?

    You are able to access your unit anytime using your Security Code - 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

  • Do you have heated and unheated units?

    We offer unheated storage units.

  • What are your office hours?

    Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

  • Is there power in your units?

    Only some of our units have a light bulb and/or an outlet. We ask you to shut off the light and remove anything plugged in when you leave your unit.

  • What is the height of the units?

    All units are 8 feet high.

  • What happens if I don't pay my rent on time?

    Rent is always due on the first of the month. Late fees will be incurred as per the rental agreement.
